Singer, composer, and amateur painter, he recorded his first records with groups such as Los Rapidos and Los Burros before attaining commercial success with El Último de la Fila. He now pursues a solo career. His music is characterised by a pop-rock sound mixed with arab and flamenco rhythms and melodies. His words are lyrical and surreal. Little is known about Garcia's personal life, not even his marital status.
